Let me begin by thanking you for your interest in
Asheville Real Estate and our Western
North Carolina land for sale. Red Wolf Run is a private, gated community where you can live amid the splendor of nature in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Nestled between sunrise and sunset in the Asheville Basin, Red Wolf Run offers a new take on Asheville Real Estate with a beautiful blend of mountains, streams, flora and fauna only 25 minutes from the eclectic atmosphere of Asheville, NC. This unity of nature and metropolitan life style is what we call, "Cosmopolitan Mountain Living." We have gone to great lengths in planning this Asheville, NC community. Rather than using the traditional "slice and dice", method to divide the land for sale in Asheville, we let nature guide the design. The Red Wolf Run development team and I have invested hundreds of hours walking the nearly 250-acres, methodically notating the views from each potential home-site for sale. Each home-site for sale in this Asheville, NC community was then carefully chosen to maximize the views and provide a minimally challenging building envelope. Low density is a prime motivator at Red Wolf Run. The limited number of
lots for sale in this Asheville, NC community provides residents with privacy and room to let their senses be enveloped by the environment, while ensuring minimal impact on the land. Red Wolf Run is active in several environmental causes here in Asheville, NC. We have pledged land and funds to "The American Chestnut Foundation" for the propagation of a blight resistant "American Chestnut Tree", which was decimated by the blight brought forth by an Asian Chestnut tree in the early 1920's. A one acre "Chestnut Farm" resides on the property, where it is our hope that the fine work of the American Chestnut Foundation will bear fruit. It is a dream of mine that Red Wolf Run, originally Chestnut Mountain, will provide for the rebirth of a blight resistant "American Chestnut" tree. Additionally, Red Wolf Run has pledged funds for the care, feeding and rebirth of the extinct Red Wolf that once roamed the Southeast. A new environment, named Red Wolf Run, at the Western North Carolina Nature Center in Asheville, is being funded by our pledge. Not to worry... Red Wolves do not inhabit our Asheville community! However, someday perhaps the magnificent and shy, Red Wolf might roam our parklands due in part to our efforts. We take tremendous pride in the stewardship of this beautiful setting. If, like me, you've dreamed of owning a piece of real estate in the Asheville, NC mountains, where you, your children and your children's children can be one with nature and "live amid splendor"...
Red Wolf Run is the community for you... I hope to meet you soon.
